It’s Back In Session! Here Are 3 Songs to Pump You Up for the New School Year – Atlanta, GA

It’s Monday. Your alarm clock is buzzing with that annoying sound from your alarm clock (or your phone because, well, it is the 21st century). You sit up in bed, stretch and realize that the party’s over.

It’s time to go back to school.

Yeah, sounds about right. It’s another year, a new semester and a chance to make some sort of impact in life. Believe me: As someone who’s about to graduate college, I’d like to go back in time and revisit some high school days just because it helps me relive my childhood.

But it’s up to you to make the best of the upcoming school term. You can either be miserable or have fun and make school an enjoyable experience.

If you need help, I got you covered. We can all agree that music is the cure to most problems, and some of us need that little inspiration to get us through a day, week or even a month. And sometimes, music is the way to go, especially if you need some words of encouragement outside of human civilization.

With that said, here are some songs to pump you up and get you ready for school, and a new year. And if you need any more reasons to get excited for a new school year after this, picture yourself driving in an all-new 2016 Kia Optima in the near future. Think about how much listening to these songs will help you in the morning, when the new 2016 Kia Optima features Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. See? Sounds a lot better now, huh?

Let’s get to the songs.

“I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor

This is the ultimate song with the deepest of meanings when it comes to school. Now, before you say anything, yes, this has nothing to do with school. But the title of the song is all you need. You will survive school. You will pull into the parking lot of your school, dancing and singing along to this song thanks to your new 2016 Kia Sorento sound system and feel proud that you are starting a new school year… Okay, stop dancing now. People are looking at you funny.

“Don’t Stop Believin'” by Journey

Let me brutally honest. I don’t like this song. It has nothing to do with Journey nor ’80s music. Let’s just say I had to perform this during graduation with the rest of my choir peeps, and it was one of the worst performances ever. Anyway, regardless of my feelings, it’s a classic that tells you to not stop believing in yourself and all of that. I’m sure someone else is jamming to it through their new 2016 Kia Forte speakers like you are, too.

“ABC” – Jackson 5

This is a novel concept. It’s a song about using your ABCs and your 123s. Okay, it’s another song that has nothing to do with school, but the title. But it’s Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5. That has to count for something. And for you preschool teachers, what better way to start your day with this song in a Kia model that combines both letters and numbers? (Hint: It’s the luxurious 2015 Kia K900. Hey, LeBron James drives a K900!)

Your top-rated metro Atlanta Kia dealership understands how difficult it is to get excited for the first day of school. Music is good for you. If you can’t wait for the 2016 Kia Optima release date, don’t hesitate to go after a 2015 Kia Optima with a six-speaker sound system and SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Make this school year the best one yet!
